About
Hello my name is Rhonda E Campbell; I have been a homeopath and herbalist for over 20 years. During my career I have helped many women with menopausal symptoms and because of my success have now decided to provide this information to a wider audience in the form of a website.
I have formal scientific training being qualified as a Medical Technologist and then worked at several Pathology Laboratories, at CSIRO with Animal Health and Fisheries and Oceanography
After my son was born I read a “The Natural Health Book” and “Dorothy Hall’s Herbal Medicine” by Dorothy Hall and it changed my way of thinking. It made so much sense to me that I decided to study Herbal Medicine with the author, Dorothy Hall and that course was the initiation into a lifelong career.
I can see that Herbal Medicine is for everyone. It is simple, safe, effective and supplied to us by nature. Modern medicine uses highly refined herbs and uses only the active part of the plant called a drug which they then manufacture synthetically but I use extracts and tinctures as medicines and also infusions and teas that you can use in your daily life that give you big results for simple remedies. I see the home remedies nourishing the individual for good health and maintenance and I also understand that when you start being a self healer you begin to recognize that disease and injury is a path to transformation and completeness.
After studying Herbal Medicine I went on to study Homeopathy and learned and practiced with these medicines in a way that I would never had thought possible. I discovered if you choose the correct Homeopathic remedy for someone, enormous positive changes occur to correct their health and not just on the physical level but also mentally and emotionally too.
Homeopaths see homeopathy in different ways. I see it as a powerful healing energy that stimulates your body to heal itself. It is able to touch all your symptoms that need to be balanced: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. With the correct remedy it allows your own natural vitality to nourish, restore and balance itself, in mind and body. I use homeopathy as well as herbs because I see that they complement one another.
When my daughter, my second child, was about 18 months old I started practicing Herbal medicine and then Homeopathy. Through the ups and downs in life my herbs and homeopathy have always been my family’s and clients’ ally to heal and nourish our bodies.
Recently I was asked about how I could help women from all over the world with information and advice about natural remedies that could relieve menopausal symptoms. Many women are frightened of the bad effects of Hormonal Replacement Therapy and I understand their fears. I started to think how I could help more people and the answer came with this website http://www.menopausethenaturalway.com I am very passionate about the way I can help people with natural remedies so the website is a chance to share my experience and knowledge to help women improve their well being.
I have a practitioner profile if you would like to check out my credentials: http://www.naturaltherapypages.com.au/therapist/1334
I am the youngest in our family of four girls and my sisters share a common interest in natural healing and health. We are all in various phases of our menopausal years and as we uncover our unconscious beliefs that once held us back we are reinventing ourselves as healthier, more resilient women, ready to move joyfully into the second half of our lives.
My sister, Christine A Cleary, the second born in the family and I have joined in a partnership to create this menopausethenaturalway.com site. Christine’s interest in natural health was channeled into growing food organically. She has been an organic farmer for 25 years and really enjoys working her property with only natural fertilizers. She doesn’t want to use anything that would harm the insects or kill the birds and the bees. She feels good about her produce because she knows it will benefit her customers’ health and that her growing methods are safe for the environment.
Christine and I also decided we would love to share the knowledge and experience of other practitioners and therapists so are including their information as well. We are very excited to share all this information so you can be happy and healthy through menopause.
Warmest Regards
Rhonda E Campbell
