Rehmannia for Anxiety Fear and Nervous Exhaustion

If you are feeling anxiety and fear, try to welcome them. If you have symptoms of shortened breath or you can’t move because of fear and life isn’t feeling as good as it should be approach your fears with curiosity because they can bring you gifts of self awareness. Feel the fear, acknowledge it, be gentle to yourself and take a step forward and do it anyway.Adrenaline, made by the adrenal glands, is the fight or flight hormone. During times of stress, the adrenals need to be looked after so they don’t get depleted, e.g. when you are stressed, even making a minor decision can cause a surge of adrenalin,  leaving you mentally blank, physically wiped out, anxious and fearful.

Make and claim your boundaries so you feel safe physically, emotionally and psychologically.
Talk to someone you can trust about your fears and worries no matter how silly you think they seem.

 

Often a fear is a hidden desire. If you don’t fear something anymore you might do it. What would your life be like if your fears came true?

Yoga postures, yoga breathing and focused meditation soothe the sympathetic nervous system. Regular practice can alleviate anxiety.
